Publishing dates are 1992 & surrounding years - possibly all in 1992. Each book 8 different titles is a pictorial hardbound and each has not a dust jacket but a translucent sleeve partial or full cover depending. Each book contains 12-14 accordion fold pages the latter number inclusive of pictorial or textual past downs with well-composed text & type and well-done beautiful illustrations vintage photos prints etc. the reverse of the pages likewise totaling 24-28pps. Titles: Columbia Gorge Recipes from the San Juan Islands Mount Rainier The Washington Cascades Chief Seattle Seasonal Favorites from The Herbfarm a no longer existing popular and high-end restaurant attached to yes an herb farm & Traces of the Oregon Trail. Portrait shoulders up of a beautiful young woman formally dressed in a white blouse. On the back written in pencil is the following: "Early pic of Grandmother Ki - "Ya" July 14 1956 Buried at Sauk". Interested party may explore the Sauk - Suiattle web page for information on this first nations community located north of Seattle. The mat has a couple of tiny nicks on the top & the back has a very slight crack not noticeable on the front. Very good. Photograph #2: Along with this formal portrait is a small image of the same woman in her late years. It is a slightly sepia 2" x 3" photo of her standing against a backdrop of timber. On the back of this photo is written: "Ki - Ya Grandmother July 14 1956 Buried at Sauk". This photo was & remains inside the same size envelope with the penciled words "Private" & "Picture" on one side. However on the flap in pencil is written "93 years Ki - Ya".
