110 New Gummed Paper Suggestions
1934ref. 7777Chicago IL: Mid-States Gummed Paper Company 1934. Early Edition. Original wraps. Very Good. 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 Inches. 64 PP. Somehow my "Catalogs" category does not cover how fabulous this 1934 Art Deco advertising guide really is. 64 pages of product labels including luggage labels sports bookplates hotels wine restaurants and much more. This third edition features all new and highly graphic content. As this is the case it would actually be consided a "First Thus" but we are going to advertise as the stated "Third Edition" on the title-page. Includes a two-page explanation of the types of glue used on the labels as well as product samples from the Century of Progress exhibition held in Chicago the previous year. A rare find for the advertising card / label collector. Original stapled bindng clean and tight. Hint of wear at corners and spine ends. SAMPLE LABELS INSIDE INCLUDE: Campbell's Soup Goodyear Tires Jack Frost Sugar Greyhound the NRA A Century of Progress 1933 National Air Races Union Oil National Radio Show International Aeronautical Exhibition Berlin and over a hundred more.
