Terminal leaf fortunately untouched by soil or damage despite being unprotected by a rear wrap. Textblock is quite good allowing for dust picked up by the deckled fore-margin. Covers consist of thick textured paper titled in gilt and dark blue these are mildly edgeworn. Ffep bears a long French-language quotation written in old sepia nib.
