Celui que reproduit la gravure de Fessard a pour véritable titre "Le triomphe de Flore."Estampe annoncée au "Mercure" en Janv. 1773 t. II p. 182 : ""L'Empire de Flore" présenté au Roi par le sieur Fessard graveur du Roi et de sa Bibliothèque. Cette estampe est la seconde de celles qui doivent être déposées au Cabinet du Roi. Elle a été gravée d'après le tableau de Nicolas Poussin haut de six pieds un pouce sur cinq pieds cinq pouces de large tiré du Cabinet du Roi. Les éloges multipliés qu'on a donnés au Peintre sur la belle composition de ce tableau ne nous permettent pas d'en dire davantage. A l'égard de la gravure l'auteur a bien rendu son original : on voit qu'il s'applique de plus en plus à varier le genre des travaux ce qui nous a paru être très-bien exécuté dans la partie des chaires "sic". Cette estampe se vend 12 livres et se trouve chez l'auteur rue Fromenteau porte cochère vis-à-vis le caffé Anglois ; et chez Prault libraire rue de Tournon. Le public est averti que l'auteur n'a qu'un petit nombre d'épreuves la planche étant déjà déposée au Cabinet du Roi.
