2009Forma e figura sono le "parole originarie" di Cassirer e Klee e le parole-specchio per un'inedita comparazione tra la teoria delle forme simboliche di Cassirer e la teoria della figurazione quale precipitato dell'opera teorica e artistica di Klee. Il confronto, così istituito, tra "pensiero configurativo" e "pensiero figurativo" è un confronto diretto, vivo: non avviene solo sulla base di fonti estetiche comuni - le letture incrociate di Leibniz e Goethe - di contenuti teoretici convergenti, di tracce, di suggestioni, di parentele, anche lontane, ma entra nelle strutture profonde della "rappresentazione", si cristallizza sulle strutture-chiave del Linienzug, il "tratto di linea", dell'Ausdruckswahrnehmung, la "percezione d'espressione", dell'Urphänomen, il "fenomeno originario", del Werk, l'"opera", del Kunstwerk, l'"opera d'arte".Il libro di Carmen Metta giunge così a formulare una sorta di identità degli archetipi della "simbolica" già percettiva e della "figurazione" già espressiva.
