La collezione di fotolibri di Martin Parr è una delle più belle che siano mai state assemblate e The Protest Box è un cofanetto che riunisce cinque libri di quella collezione come ristampe in facsimile. Parr ha selezionato diversi libri che affrontano ciascuno il tema della protesta in modi molto diversi. Dalla documentazione di vari movimenti di protesta al libro vero e proprio come forma di protesta tutte queste ristampe sono gemme nella storia dell'editoria fotografica. Alcuni sono noti ma molti sono nuovi anche per gli intenditori di libri di fotografia. Tutti questi libri sono praticamente impossibili da reperire quindi queste ristampe daranno un contributo sostanziale alla nostra comprensione di questo sottogenere del fotolibro.
