Included are a flyer two letters and a sample ballot. All items about fine. Pinkett for National Committeewoman. A letter on Kennedy for President Headquarters stationary reads "The District of Columbia Primary on May 7th will elect delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago; and my hopes for receiving the Presidential nomination at that Convention - and in a larger sense my hopes for the future of this country - depend on the election of the delegate slate led by Reverend Channing Phillips and Flaxie Pinkett." The flyer featured here shows Reverend Phillips shaking hands with Kennedy. Phillips was the head of Kennedy's D.C. campaign and was put forth by the District's delegates as a nominee during the Chicago convention after Kennedy's assassination.
