The epistolary exchanges with Alessandro Pompeo Berti, Giandomenico Bertoli, Giovanni Bianchi (alias Janus Plancus), Orazio Bianchi, Francesco and Giuseppe Bianchini, contained in this volume, tackle issues on learning, on historical, archaeological, and epigraphic research, and on the biblical studies of the first half of the Eighteenth century. The other numerous letters, often addressed to Muratori's relatives, touch practical subjects that shed light on the more intimate life of this intellectual. Centro di studi muratoriani.
