Some minor foxing to end papers but rest of text quite clean. Fold out maps and illustrations still attached and intact although vol I has small tear to map. Both volumes in very good condition boards show shelf wear and usage spines have very slight rubbing but hinges are fully intact. Previous owners name and address on front free end papers of both volumes. A lovely collectors set. Blackie & Son hardcover
