L'aereo tocca terra e la sua avventura ha inizio. Simona visita ospedali, farmacie, scuole, case di riposo per anziani, orfanotrofi, tutte strutture gestite dalle suore. Le malattie più diffuse sono: la lebbra, il colera, l'AIDS, il tifo, la tubercolosi, la malaria e la malnutrizione. Molte volte le persone arrivano in ospedale con una patologia allo stato terminale, oppure soltanto quando lo stregone non è riuscito a trovare un rimedio. Grazie a Dio ci sono le suore, vera testimonianza del Vangelo, che con la loro presenza condividono e accolgono i bisognosi.
