ref. 251229Melbourne: E.W. Cole: 1900 A stylish art nouveau decorated cloth that is hard covers pp. iv 62 162 x 110 mm. Frontispiece. Cole published only two novels by women. One of them was this novella A Question of Taste by Esther Hacknay author of Thistledown serialised in 1899 in The Adelaide Observer. Immediate doubt is thereby cast on the spelling of the authors surname on the cover and title page of this Cole publication since Thistledown is attributed to the much more likely Esther Hackney. A very good copy. hardcover
