Interessante e non comune prima edizione di questo studio di demografia. Viene citata la popolazione di tutti i comuni d'Italia al 1856 con anche il Tirolo e la Svizzera italiana del Canton Ticino, l'Isola di Malta e la Corsica. Di quest'opera ne venne stampata una seconda edizione nel 1863. Utilissima e rara pubblicazione stampata a spese dell'autore. PRIMA EDIZIONE.

Doveva seguire una seconda parte (con documenti più recenti, regesto e indice dei Cavalieri) che non abbiamo. Ma questa prima parte è ben ricca e gfruibile a sé.
