Photographers and directors that go after stories from different cities, for a period that lasted over a year, took part in workshops, carried out joint pohotgraphy and video projects, and turned the cities tehy came form and their identities into a part of collective production.

Yusuf Ziya Bey was an Ottoman / Turkish statesman from Yozgat city who lived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He descended from Çapanoghuls (Çapanogullari principality in Anatolia) which was Yozgat city's deep-rooted dynasty. He wrote the impressions in verse he described in detail on the places he visited in the cities of Yozgat, Kirsehir, Kastamonu city, Küre Mountains and Inebolu etc. with their architectural monuments and important figures who lived in those places. The material was collected over a long period of time due to difficulty of procurement and it was necessary to publish them instead of waiting for new material to be discovered. The glass negatives in the collection of the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) in Istanbul make up a unique set of images for Aydin. Materials presented here include those published in Bitek Topraklar Üstünde Aydin and others and they will facilitate a new access for those who would like to explore the visual history of the city.
