He was of Jewish extraction and his sister Clara 1915-1942 a trumpeter praised by Louis Armstrong and the leader of an all-woman band The Rosian Ladies died at Auschwitz. Lengthwise on a leaf of 11 x 17.5 cm cream paper with rounded corners extracted from an autograph album. In good condition lightly aged. No other writing on either side of the leaf. Firmly written and underlined. Reads: ‘With best / regards/ Louis de Vries’. Without date or place. unknown
