Unexamined out of frame but the photo appears good only with staining along the bottom edge affecting only a small portion of the image and edgewear including short chips and tears. The frame is fine with a tiny bit of wear. Inscribed by Don Redman: "To 'Ella Mae' My best Regard for your continued Success and may all your success be with my band. Don Redman 1937." Ella Mae is quite possibly the singer Ella Mae Morse although in 1937 she would have been 14 years old and just beginning her career. Morse received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960.
