Overall a handsome copy of the great Mickey Mantle's memoir. He also helped power the Yankees to seven World Series titles. Mantle was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1974 and was selected for the prestigious MLB All-Century Team in 1999. His memoir The Mick "abounds with those memories of when Mantle was the toast of the town. More than that though it movingly recounts the private events of his remarkably public life; from his humble beginnings to his personal triumphs in and out of baseball to the tragedy that haunts four generations of his family." .
