In questo libro Ivar Ekeland guida il lettore in un esame di alcuni aspetti matematici del caso: il calcolo delle probabilità e la teoria dei giochi, il teorema di Godei e le sue implicazioni, la teoria dei sistemi complessi, il rischio e la teoria della decisione, la statistica e la valutazione della probabilità. Ma, e qui è una delle ragioni principali del volume, la trattazione scientifica si intreccia con le vicende umane. 1939Very Good French First Edition of this scarce book on the Jewish Palestine from Balfour Declaration in 1917 to the White Paper in 1939, by Marc Jarblum (1887-1912) who was the Zionist leader, one of the founders of Po'alei Zion in Poland and also engaged in an underground activity, for which he was repeatedly jailed. The book includes Jarblum's views on the Jewish Palestine in the early 19th century between two important historical events on Palestine: The Balfour Declaration, was a public statement issued by the British government in 1917 during the First World War announcing support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine, then an Ottoman region with a small minority Jewish population. And the White Paper of 1939, was a policy paper issued by the British government, led by Neville Chamberlain, in response to the 1936-1939 Arab revolt in Palestine. After its formal approval in the House of Commons on 23 May 1939, it acted as the governing policy for Mandatory Palestine from 1939 to the 1948 British departure. Kalmik was an artist and art historian, known for his work in studying the lyrical-abstract Turkish painters. In 1928, Academy of Fine Arts in the Department of Painting by entering the first Nazmi Ziya's, then Ibrahim Calli 's was a student. In 1937, after graduation time in various newspapers and magazines and worked. In 1939 Paris 'e went and André Lhote 's studied painting at the workshop. Sorbonne University 's also took courses in art history. After returning to Turkey in 1940 in Ankara and Istanbul, was an art teacher at various high schools (1942-47). In 1947 Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture 'in the colors and shapes began to teach composition. In 1967-68 Berlin Technical University's department of architecture as a guest lecturer in the basic design taught. Previously, impressionistic understanding Kalmik employees, located in Europe at the time of cubism was interested. Braque 'la Picasso 's, then Fernand Léger and Henri Matisse's figures were impacted by understanding. After returning to Turkey maintained a distinct outer line of figurative abstraction and had a strong sense of pattern.
