Boards rubbed, spine missing and taped. Plate IV of the first paper partly browned, otherwise a good copy.

The work deals with rich and varied Pliocene-Pleistocene faunas. The later parts are based on more, new research and a re-evaluation of taxa included in the earlier parts. The part on bivalves contains an appendix with new information on additional gastropods.
