Si tratta della memoria legale in latino, con larghe parti in italiano (descrizioni dei beni, testimonianze, etc.) di una complicata causa per l'eredità di Tommaso Colini di Iesi, che, aveva lasciato la moglie Maddalena e la madre Maria Settimia Grazia, usufruttuarie, con la clausole che esse avrebbero potuto disporne dei beni totalmente "a lor arbitrio" e i beni restanti alla loro morte sarebbero passati ai "figli maschi presenti e futuri del sig. Giuseppe Grazii", (I p.3-4). Alla morte della moglie, la madre aveva lasciato erede Giovan Battista Grazia, nipote del fratello e da qui la causa.

Cosimo III ... risoluto fondare e stabilire in questa città e porto di Livorno un collegio dei PP. della Comp. di Gesù..." fu scelto il fabbricato del Vincenti, ma la soppressione dell'ordine, nel 1773 (p.6) e il passaggio dei beni all'ospedale della SS.Annunziata e S.Ranieri di Livorno, portarono alla causa.
