Hardcover first edition with proper points "flees" on page 100 & "publisher" on copyright page. Light brown cloth boards with gilt on front and spine. Exterior shows some scuffing and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The internal binding is good at the boards but there is some separating and wiggle at the title page this can easily be repaired if desired the front end page contains the original owner's name and address written in pencil no other handwriting found. No bookplates no library markings present. Pages are mildly tone due to age and there is scattered foxing and spotting present. At the time of this listing we had multiple copies available. I have been collecting Mrs Buck's books for over 40 years and they are hard to keep in stock. The TLS came from a 5th grade school teacher back in the 90's just waiting for the right book to come along. I sold off 4 of the cards but I did keep 1 mentioned in the letter.
