Edward Harris "Ted" Coy 1888 - 1935 was one of Yale's greatest football player and then coach. Coy was selected as a first-team All-American three straight years from 1907 to 1909 and was later selected as the fullback on Walter Camp's All-Time All-America team. He also served as Yale's head football coach in 1910 for only one year and only a year after graduation. In 1951 Coy was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as part of its inaugural class. <br/><br/>Each Spring in their Junior year 15 men are chosen to be initiated as members.<br/><br/>His photo appears first opposite one of 1910 President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York The last one is Albert DeSilver 1910 co-founder American Civil Liberties Union. This little book is rare charming and very appealing" - Biobliotheca Samo Salar.<br/><br/>The first edition was printed in 1959 in slightly larger format. Cronyn is quoted in Maclean's June 1 1968 discussing his plans to publish this private edition: "It's dreadfully boring" says Cronyn "-except for the man who wants to learn to cast a fly."<br/><br/>OCLC locates five copies four in Canada and one at the University of New Hampshire.
