Vile Bodies
London: Chapman and Hall. This is a Very Good Copy of this book in Publisher's original red and black patterned cloth with gilt title lettering to spine. No dust-jacket.This copy has some slight dulling to spine and with just a little light wear to the head of spine. This copy has NO previous ownership inscriptions present. The copy has a firm binding with no hinge weakness.Attractive title page is vibrant in red and black. The actual Issue on this book is that there appears to have been a page removed from the verso of the coloured title page which is dated 1930.I believe this is likely to have been to remove the 2nd Impression notification on this sheettherefore we cannot guarantee that this copy can be described with accuracy as the True First Edition. There is some foxing present to the pre-lims and also to the fore-edge of the book which is a little dulled. This copy has a firm binding with NO hinge weakness and there are NO loose leaves etc.A decent copy for the collector of the Author's much sought after second novel but it's possible this was the second Impression with the page having been removed8vo 252pp . Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 2nd Printing. 1930. Chapman and Hall hardcover
