Vol I first pastedown laid down with tissue reinforcement to inner hinge. Engraved title general title page and volume title pages are present with tissue repair to foreedge of the last two. 'John Ogilvy' signature to volume title page; final paste-down laid down. Vol II front pastedown laid down tissue reinforcement to inner hinge inscription in same hand to letter-press title page: '3 vols for 7/6 bought at illegible Auction for John Ogilvy'; final pastedown laid down. Vol III tissue strengthening to upper inner hinge; once again Ogilvy signature and purchase price on letter-press title page; final pastedown laid down.
