Schon im Vorjahr hatte Auer mit seiner tabellarischen "Universal-Übersicht aller Regeln und Ausnahmen der französischen Sprache" ein didaktisch klug angeordnetes Hilfsmittel herausgebracht, das ebenfalls Eurich druckte. - Teils schwach stockfleckig. Einband gering berieben; unteres Kapital lädiert; Vordergelenk mit winziger Anplatzstelle. Insgesamt sehr ansprechend gebundenes Exemplar aus der Bibliothek des Stifts Kremsmünster (OÖ), das bis zum heutigen Tage ein Gymnasium betreibt, mit entspr. Sul medesimo argomento la B.C.R.S. ha già pubblicato nel 1987 una guida bibliografica a cura di Gioconda Chindemi e Mimma Corso in cui sono state segnalate le pubblicazioni sull'argomento possedute, a quella data dalla B.C.R.S. e una selezione di opere fondamentali per uno studio storico approfondito del fenomeno, dalle prime forme di brigantaggio alle organizzazioni criminali. Questa bibliografia, oltre ai titoli che dall'87 ad oggi hanno incrementato il catalogo della B.C.R.S., comprende le pubblicazioni più significative della produzione editoriale nazionale che affrontano il tema della criminalità organizzata e della corruzione in genere, e una selezione di opere straniere che evidenziano la diffusione del fenomeno mafioso a livello internazionale. Va sottolineato che nell'ultimo decennio c'è stata una ricchissima produzione di testi sulla mafia stimolata probabilmente da una maggiore sensibilità al problema. Gli attacchi diretti da parte della mafia nei confronti dello Stato con crimini efferati hanno, infatti, determinato una maggiore presa di coscienza del fenomeno mafioso da parte della società civile che si è trovata quasi costretta ad interrogarsi sulla problematica ad esso connessa, e ad affrontarla nella totalità dei suoi risvolti, scandagliando tutte le implicazioni socio-culturali che essa comporta. Analogamente le istituzioni laiche ed ecclesiastiche hanno moltiplicato i loro interventi, facendo avvertire in maniera ferma la loro presenza, volta ad arrestare o quantomeno ad arginare il fenomeno. In questa guida, che per facilitare la ricerca è stata suddivisa in sezioni, oltre a testi utili per uno studio della mafia nel suo sviluppo storico, economico e sociale, sono numerose le opere che testimoniano l'impegno civile nella lotta alla mafia, le attività delle scuole per lo sviluppo di una cultura antimafiosa e gli interventi della Chiesa finalizzati al recupero dei valori cristiani. Ugualmente numerosi e di grande interesse i saggi sull'economia mafiosa, sulle sue strategie economiche legate al traffico della droga e sulle nuove forme di impresa a partecipazione mafiosa. Particolarmente rappresentata è anche la sezione dedicata alla corruzione politica e alle sue connivenze con il sistema mafioso. Nella sezione legislativa viene raccolta la produzione editoriale relativa alle norme antimafia, testimonianza indiretta ma significativa delle altalenanti vicende dell'impegno antimafia del parlamento diviso fra emergenza criminale e garantismo civile.
