Le Centre d'Etudes Superieures de la Renaissance a en effet pour vocation d'etudier une Renaissance qui va << de Petrarque a Descartes>>. New Studies on Lex Regia explores these questions as the dispute on a non-literary source (the Lex Regia) is exemplary for the way in which philological research came together with interpretations of the Roman law and the political conclusions drawn from them. Ha pubblicato monografie dedicate a Gravina (1997 e 2006) e a Tolleranza e libertà di coscienza in Olanda e a Napoli nel Settecento (1999, 2005 e 2013). Nel 2010 sono apparsi volumi su A partire da Giambattista Vico. Filosofia, diritto e letteratura nella Napoli di secondo Settecento e su New Studies on Lex Regia; del 2011 è la raccolta di saggi su Pasiones del alma y pasiones civiles. Nel 2013 ha curato la Bibliografia degli scritti di Fausto Nicolini.
