'...per quanta autorita' abbiano il Rossetti, il Moris, il Crane, il Ruskin, illustri precusrsori ed apostoli del nuovo stile, i caratteri da quei signori preferiti, specie se disgiunti all'ornamentazione floreale, non reggono al confronto con quelli del Didot e del nostro Bodoni...'. No apparent bleed through to the inside. This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Galerie 1900-2000, in Paris during October 19 to November 1, 1984. The auction contained paintings, sculptures, drawings, games, and other decorative arts works, all related to sports. Most of the lots are from the late 19th century through the 1920's. 467 lots in the sale. All illustrated in black & white, some color. Essay by Felix Marcilhac. Prices realized list laid in. 12" high X 9" wide, 92 pages.
