Text is clean and tight. However there are what could be some overgluing spots on front and rear endpapers by hinge. Just detracts a bit. Text is clean and tight with what could be woodblock prints throughout and designed by Sister Rose Ellen and others. On page 5 and rear dust jacket Father du Chardins name is written in ink. Dust jacket is red and yellow with a b/w head shot photo on front. DJ flaps on front and rear have not been creased right at bindery makeing some of the white inside flap show. There are also some small edge nicks and tears from handling on DJ. Also some wear from being slid out from between other tightly packed shelved books.
