Milwaukee WI 1969. unbound. 3.25 x 6.25-inch First Day Cover commemorating the "thirty-eighth annual convention of the Wisconsin Federation of Stamp Clubs." Signed and dated "1969" by Coward and postmarked in Milwaukee Wisconsin on May 17 1969. The envelope features an image of an Abraham Lincoln stamp on the left and has a cancelled six-cent Apollo 8 stamp on the upper right. Quadruple-matted in gray with a handsome circular cut-out surrounding a 4.75-inch-wide photo of Coward wearing a hat and overcoat. Set in an off-white frame measuring 14 x 13 inches. Very good condition except for a chip on the bottom edge of the frame which is not visible when viewed straight on. unknown
