This set were the first uniform collected edition of the works of Charles Dickens published in America Wilkins p. 41 Publisher's brown cloth with handsome gold Dicksonian characters on spine edges. Most volumes in good bindings. Two volumes missing a portion of the back strip at the head of the spine and 2 boards detached. Overall an unusual early printing of Dicken's works.
