The promotional single-weight silver-gelatin print of his very last film "L'Argent" shows the protagonist in a key scene and has become its single most iconic image. Print size is 8.0 X 10.0 inches vertical portrait. Eminently suitable for framing. Encased in its own protective plastic sheet with brown cardboard backing. And that as such we are eternally indebted to him. An absolute "must-have" collectible not just memorabilia set for Robert Bresson collectors. <b><i> This copy of the Cahiers du Cinema Retrospective Magazine Issue is a classic. The Cover Image is the single most beautiful portrait of the film director and his personal favorite. This archival silver-gelatin print of "L'Argent" is also a classic. ‎Bresson Robert director; Andre Marinie photographer; Florence Delay starring‎

‎Robert Bresson on the set of "Le proces de jeanne d'arc" The Trial of Joan of Arc 1962‎

‎N.p.: N.p. 1960. Vintage borderless photograph from the 1962 film by photographer Andre Marinie. A candid on-the-set photograph of the film's reclusive director Robert Bresson behind the camera typically pensive and with cigarette in hand. Marinie's stamp and stamp from the film's production companies Agnes Delahaie Productions and Consortium Pathe on the verso. Linda Rasmussen at AllMovie notes: "Characteristically breaking with tradition director Robert Bresson presents a realistic unique view of the life and death of Joan of Arc. Using a script based on the actual transcript notes taken during her trial Bresson focuses on the psychological and physical torture that Joan had to endure showing how these techniques were used to break her resolve and cause her to eventually recant her faith. "With impeccable historical accuracy Bresson re-creates the story of the peasant girl who after leading an unsuccessful revolt against the government was brought to trial convicted of heresy and burned as a witch. However Bresson shows Joan Florence Carrez as a woman more sophisticated and calculating and less naive than she has normally been represented. His Joan while more real is no less heroic than the traditional Joan." In a custom museum-quality frame archivally mounted with UV glass. 9.5 x 7.25 inches. Near Fine. N.p. unknown‎

‎New York: Pressman Williams 1970. Draft script for the 1973 film. Copy belonging to cinematographer Gregory Sandor with his name in holograph pencil on the verso of the title page and holograph pencil annotations throughout.<br/><br/>Danielle is a beautiful model separated from her conjoined twin Dominique. When her neighbor an aspiring journalist suspects Danielle of a brutal murder the horror of Danielle's disturbing past begins to surface. Director Brian De Palma based his original story on a Life magazine article about conjoined twins in the Soviet Republic who had been successfully separated but were experiencing psychological problems as a result of the operation. <br/><br/>With its use of visually dense point-of-view and split-screen camera techniques "Sisters" is one of De Palma's earliest forays into erotic voyeurism as a conduit for psychological horror paving the way for a string of idiosyncratic psychosexual projects in the ensuing years such as "Obsession" 1976 "Dressed to Kill" 1980 "Blow Out" 1981 and "Body Double" 1984 among others. Given its focus on the anxiety of the gaze "Sisters" can also be read as an homage to Alfred Hitchcock-openly referencing "Rope" 1948 "Rear Window" 1954 and "Psycho" 1960-and indeed the film was even scored by Bernard Hermann a frequent musical collaborator for Hitchcock's films.<br/><br/>Set and shot on location in New York. <br/><br/>Maroon titled wrappers.
