Loosely based on David Goodis' 1954 seminal hardboiled novel "Black Friday" a paperback original. A French fugitive heads for Canada and ends up joining a gang of criminals in the midst of kidnapping the mentally-challenged daughter of a rival crimelord. The plan goes accordingly until the girl accidentally dies. Shot on location in Quebec Canada and Hauts-de-Seine France. Both stills 7 x 9.25 inches borderless as issued. One of Goodis' bleakest novels which he solely adapted for the screen. Director Paul Wendkos turned the screenplay into one of the greatest heist films ever made starring Dan Duryea Jayne Mansfield and Martha Vickers. The pressbook contains casting information a plot synopsis black and white stills extensive advertising examples and a few hilarious ideas for theater staff to pull off as gimmicks to promote the film. 8 pages saddle stitched measuring 12 X 16 inches.
