Hollywood: Jed Buell Productions / Columbia Pictures 1938. Draft script for the 1938 film. Copy belonging to actor Joseph Herbst with his last name in holograph pencil to the front wrapper. Herbst played the part of the sheriff in the film and a year later would also go on to act as a Munchkin villager in The Wizard of Oz.<br/><br/>The only known all-little person western musical film an otherwise relatively conventional Western about good guys against cattle thieves that never-the-less featured a plethora of height-based gags including cowboys entering the local saloon by walking under the swinging doors and cattle ranchers riding Shetland ponies. Panned by critics and beloved by audiences produced Jed Buell stated that he had two sequels in the works with the cast though they never materialized leaving this the only oddity of its kind.<br/><br/>Shot on location in California. <br/><br/>Tall blue titled wrappers noted as copy No. 12.
