‎Pearl Jam :‎

‎A very good hardcover dvd box 11p. Photo booklet. Dolby surround 5.1.
Released more than a decade past its peak in popularity Pearl Jam proves it still has what it takes to captivate an audience with the concert film Immagine in Cornice. Culled from footage taken throughout the band's 2006 tour of Italy the film captures the preternaturally youthful Eddie Vedder mesmerizing audiences with his full rich voice. One of grunge music's defining bands Pearl Jam continues to produce new music but isn't afraid to rest on its laurels. Unlike some groups that refuse to perform "oldies" for their fans this DVD shows that fans are treated to hits such as "Alive" "Even Flow" and "Better Man" as well as an incendiary cover of their buddy Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World." Directed by Danny Clinch who exhibits a keen eye for capturing a live concert experience Immagine offers peeks backstage as well as moments that are both charming and calculated such as Vedder learning to speak a few Italian phrases to win over the crowd Not that the fans needed to be won over. There are a handful of groups that can play sold-out venues without having a record at the top of the charts and Pearl Jam--an incredibly seasoned live band--is one of them. The songs sound crisp and the musicians guitarists Stone Gossard and Mike McCready bassist Jeff Ament drummer Matt Cameron organist Boom Gaspar look as though they are having the time of their lives. While not as compelling as Jim Jarmusch's "Year of the Horse" which documented Neil Young's 1996 tour of the same name Immagine in Cornice is a thoughtful look at a thought-provoking and still relevant band. --Jae-Ha Kim.
ENGLISH with subtitles:Deutsch English Espanol Francais Italiano. ‎The Story of Pretty Boy Floyd The Daltons: Outlaws Original screenplay for the 1974 television movie‎

‎Burbank CA: Universal Television / American Broadcasting Company ABC 1973. Draft script for the 1974 television movie "The Story of Pretty Boy Floyd" seen here under the title "The Daltons: Outlaws."

As the script's title indicates a story originally intended to be about the Dalton Gang. For reasons unknown presumably legal the script was haphazardly rewritten in the same year to become a sympathetic portrait of Depression-era bank robber Pretty Boy Floyd. The completed film retains some of the Dalton-like elements seen in this draft including a trio of brothers as main characters. The resulting film starred real-life brothers Martin Sheen and Joe Estevez with Estevez in his first role.

Set in Oklahoma.

Olive green titled wrappers noted as production No. 39108 dated November 30 1973. Title page present dated November 30 1973 with credits for screenwriter Clyde Ware and producers Roy Huggins and Jo Swerling Jr. 89 leaves with last page of text numbered 88. Mimeograph duplication. ‎Le testament d'Orphee Testament of Orpheus Original French lobby card photo‎

‎Paris: Cinedis 1960. Original black-and-white photographic lobby card from the 1960 film "Testament of Orpheus" Jean Cocteau's final work in the cinema. The last film in Cocteau's "Orphic" trilogy following "The Blood of a Poet" 1930 and "Orphee" 1950. The only film in the trilogy featuring Cocteau himself as an aging poet who knows he is dying as indeed he was his greatest desire being to experience rebirth so that he can qualify for celestial immortality. With cameos by Pablo Picasso Charles Aznavour bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguen and Yul Brynner. A few seconds of color are spliced in at one point a surreal effect used prior to this film in "Portrait of Jennie" 1948 and later in Samuel Fuller's "Shock Corridor" 1963. Having run out of funds in mid-production Cocteau was given the prize money won by Francois Truffaut for "Les Quatre Cents Coups" in 1959 to complete filming. Truffaut the father of the French New Wave produced the film. 12 x 9.5 inches double weight. Near Fine. Small French cinema photo store logo stamped on the verso. Criterion Collection 69.
