Upper spine chipped a little wear to edges and tips final signature starting slightly discoloration to the edges of some leaves generally very good. In this copy someone has created an "Alphabetical Index of the Poets" which is written in an 18th or 19th century hand in pen on both sides of the final two blanks the rear end paper and finishes up on the verso of the first blank leaf at the front. Several head and tail-piece illustrations and numerous small engraved medallion portraits printed within the text. This is the Regular Edition with no plates; there was also a Subscriber's Edition which contained a frontispiece and 5 inserted plates. Scanderbeg is a tragic historical drama set in Albania. The work was edited by Whincop's widow and may have been revised by English writer John Mottley who aided in the book's compilation. Full-Leather. Very Good. Printed for W.
