Voltaire was a popular Enlightenment writer historian and philosopher famous for his wit and attacks on Christianity. In a full calf binding. Rebacked with the original boards preserved. Some repairs to the boards at edges. A few light marks to the boards. Small tidemark to the outer edge of front board. Repairs to the hinges. Internally firmly bound.
