Dust jacket has some rubbing to folds spine slightly yellowed rubbing and short fold tears to spine ends; VG otherwise. This is a correct first printing with no printer named and the period on p. 112. According to G&P A16a it should have blue top page edges. This copy appears to have never been blue there though it is possible it once did and the colour has completely faded away which I doubt. The G&P entry for this title needs some revision on several points. Second issue copies i.e. for the Book-of-the-Month Club I believe despite having a flap price are very common and often thought to be the real thing. . First printing. Hardcover. Viking
