Top edge has very minor rubbing just to extremities. Binding is tight pages bright and predominantly clean with just the odd fingersmudge. Lighter than usual library abuse limited to inkstamp and notation to ffep and pocket removal from rear ep remnants of glue and date due paper minor paper peel - not too bad. Dust jacket is price clipped shows very minor soiling & faint spine sunning some very light rubbing to extremities. No spine label. Overall this is a sturdy reading copy that looks superb on the shelf. Ardizzone's black and white drawings perfectly complement the mood of wonder and reminiscence in these 82 poems for children.
