"In-4° grande (cm. 35,6x26,6), pp. (2b), (4), (2b) + 5 TAVOLE con fotografie in tonalità seppia dello Stabilimento Fotomeccanico Fotochimico Ibg. Artura ALINARI, Firenze (Mobile con teca delle 11 medaglie conservate presso il Regio Istituto e le foto delle 11 MEDAGLIE recto e verso). Fascicolo che conserva le sguardie, ma è privo di legatura, i due fogli di testo sono staccati, ma in distinta veste tipografica e con frontespizio testatina e capolettera ornati in rosso e nero su spessa carta di gran pregio. I Congressi si svolsero dal 1839 al 1847 ""La serie"" delle Medaglie dei Congressi ""posseduta dal R. Museo di Fisica... è rara, e difficilmente si potrebbe ricostruire altrove"", ecco perché si èvoluto conservarla in uno stipo e riprodurla ""in una forma degna della scienza italiana"". 4 volumi, 280x210 mm, pp. (16), XII, (2), 304; (4), 417, (1); (6), 147, (5), 137, (1); (8), 344; Tavole: (90; 5; 16; 8); rilegatura coeva in piena pergamena, titolo in oro al dorso, frontespizio del primo volume in rosso e nero. Numerose incisioni nel testo, 4 tavole ripiegate fuori testo, quasi tutte di riproduzione delle medaglie e monete di cui si parla. I primi 3 volumi hanno un ex libris nobiliare applicato all'antiporta. Il quarto volume ha dei evidenti restauri al dorso. Esemplare fresco nell'assieme e molto buono. Mancano i due volumi di appendice pubblicati nel 1759.

Traccia di gore alle sguardie, ma ottimo l'interno su carta speciale vergata appositamente fabbricata. Importante opera sulle monete italiane, fonte preziosa di notizie anche per la storia dell'economia e corredata da un ottimo apparato iconografico.
