Sünner, Rüdiger:
Wildes Denken : Europa im Dialog mit spirituellen Kulturen der Welt.
Neues Exemplar - In seinem berühmten Buch „Das wilde Denken“ beschrieb der französische Ethnologe Claude Lévi-Strauss die ganzheitliche, bildhafte und mit der Natur verbundene Weltsicht indigener Kulturen. Dieses „wilde Denken“ sieht – anders als das dualistische Weltbild westlicher Tradition – eher fließende Übergänge zwischen Mensch und Natur, Realität und Geisterwelt, Leben und Tod, was Rüdiger Sünner an ausgewählten Beispielen aus Amerika, Afrika, Asien und Ozeanien eindrucksvoll veranschaulicht. Indigene Kulturen halten die Natur für durchgängig beseelt und glauben an ein Fortleben der Seele nach dem Tode, egal ob in Form von Wiedergeburt, Seelenwanderung oder Ahnenkult. Ricco d'immagini e di riferimenti al mondo della musica, della letteratura gotica, dei mass media, il volume si rivolge a tutti coloro che vogliono orientarsi nell'intricato universo del tatuaggio contemporaneo, tanto come osservatori di un fenomeno così diffuso, quanto come soggetti alle prese con la decisione se farsi o no un tatuaggio, cosa e dove tatuarsi. Assumendo una prospettiva psicologica, in primo luogo s'indagano le ragioni profonde che portano a voler scrivere se stessi sulla pelle indelebilmente. Si analizza poi l'estetica del tatuaggio: come esso modifica l'immagine corporea e come le qualità formali del disegno incidono sulla comprensione o meno di ciò che s'intende rappresentare. Il terzo tema affrontato concerne l'area del significato, cioè il modo in cui il tatuaggio può veicolare contenuti interiori e vissuti soggettivi.
