‎In dieser Publikation werden zwei Ritualszenen aus dem Chonstempel in Karnak, die kurz vor der Zeitenwende entstanden sind, untersucht. Beide Szenen zeigen den Konig, der die Figur der Gottin Maat jeweils einer Gruppe von 15 bzw. 11 Gottheiten uberreicht. Die fur thebanische Ritualszenen ungewohnlich langen Begleitinschriften (51 und 31 Zeilen) geben eine spate Version der ortlichen Kosmogonie wieder, in die sowohl lokale als auch uberregionale Gottheiten einbezogen sind. Wahrend Ausschnitte von einer der beiden Szenen schon langer bekannt sind (erste Veroffentlichung von Daressy 1884, uberarbeitete Abschrift von Sethe 1929), liegen in der vorliegenden Publikation jetzt erstmals Umzeichnungen der beiden Szenen vor. Das Kernstuck des Bandes ist eine neue Ubersetzung und ein ausfuhrlicher Kommentar dieser thebanischen Kosmogonie. Das eigentlich Besondere der Inschriften ist dabei die Zusammenstellung konventioneller Topoi mit singularen Textabschnitten, die einen Einblick in die ausserst kreative theologische Arbeit gewahren, die die Priester der griechisch-romischen Epoche geleistet haben. Sie verbanden altere Uberlieferungen mit neu entwickelten Vorstellungen, um den aktuellen Stand des theologischen Diskurses wiederzugeben. Eine Reihung ungewohnlicher Aussagen in einem der beiden Texte macht es schliesslich moglich, diesen mit einem spateren Bericht des Porphyrios (um 300 n. Chr.) in Verbindung zu setzen, was einen Einblick in die antike Agyptenrezeption ermoglicht. Languages : German.‎

‎Victimes de l'? esthetique des ruines ? romantique, les depots lapidaires commencent a sortir de l'ombre des caves ou de l'humidite des jardins pour afficher tout leur interet scientifique et patrimonial aux yeux des chercheurs et du public. Leur statut reste pourtant problematique puisque ces objets sont par definition isoles de leur contexte et que la connaissance de leur provenance est parfois une recherche en soi. Ainsi, ils peuvent aussi bien avoir fait partie de la decoration d'un edifice encore en elevation qu'etre de simples materiaux d'un monument disparu. Qui plus est, les vestiges d'un seul ouvrage sont parfois disperses dans plusieurs depots de statuts differents, tandis qu'un seul lieu peut rassembler des pieces provenant de differents batiments. L'abandon et la meconnaissance de ces fonds documentaires semblent heureusement avoir fait long feu. Les exemples des depots de Senlis, des abbayes de Jumieges et de Beauport, de l'hotel-Dieu de Chartres, de l'eglise Saint-Wulphy de Rue, de l'eglise collegiale Saint-Evremond de Creil et d'elements provenant de l'abbaye de Royallieu soulignent en effet la multitude des approches possibles. Les elements inventories peuvent ainsi etre envisages sous un angle geologique oriente vers l'histoire de l'exploitation des materiaux, sous celui de l'histoire de l'art et des techniques de construction, mais aussi etre l'objet de considerations museographiques, avec l'objectif de comprendre la chronologie des constructions et destructions ou de restituer l'apparence d'un monument. Chaque demarche est ainsi amenee a communiquer avec d'autres : la tentative de reconstitution d'un edifice disparu necessite de recenser les fragments retrouves en fouille aussi bien que les remplois dans des batiments en elevation...
