Sonst gut erhalten, ohne inhaltlichen Verlust. Altersentsprechend noch guter Zustand. Großformatige Produktbroschüre der einstigen Papierhandlung und Buchdruckerei Bähre in Hannover. Die Broschüre hat Detail und Umfang eines kleinen Kataloges, auf den vier Seiten sind mehrere hundert Produkte verzeichnet und durch mindestens einhundert Abbildungen (Illustrationen, s/w) auch visualisiert. Unter den angebotenen Produkten sind typische Schreibwaren wie Briefpapier und Kuverts sowie auch zeittypische Besonderheiten wie "Überseeisch-Post", also Papiersorten zum weltweiten Versand. Auch Füllfederhalter, Tintenfässer (u.a. aus den USA) und Briefwaagen sind enthalten und bebildert. Interessant ist auch eine zeitgenössische Geldzähle-Kassette in mehreren Varianten (mit Abbildung). Weiterhin wurden Alben, Kalender, Poesiealben und Gesangbücher angeboten - alles im Stil der Zeit um 1900. Die letzte Seite versammelt Spiele, Jugendschriften, günstige Klassikerausgaben (Goethe in 4 Bänden für 6 Mark schon damals). Auch wirbt die Broschüre für die Druckleistungen der Firma (etwa für Visitenkarten) und weist auf die insgesamt 7 Schaufenster des Ladengeschäfts hin. Das großräumige Geschäft muß in der einstigen Altstadt von Hannover gelegen haben, vermutlich sind einige der damaligen Straßen nach 1945 aus der Stadtplanung verschwunden. Sehr interessante und anschauliche Handelswerbung aus Hannover in der Jahrhundertwende!

Patterned endpapers. Very clean inside and out but a few closed tears to the front free endpaper and a small chip of the endpaper missing on the bottom corner, front and back hinges strengthened. Text in German. Introduction in German, English and French. Two color plates + illustrations in black & white. A sale catalog of stained glass. 550 lots in the sale. This is one volume, complete in itself, of this sale, which included ceramics in a second part and medals and books in a third part. 12" high X 9" wide, 69 pages.
