Le numerose esperienze, soprattutto quelle fatte in Svezia e Unione Sovietica, gli ispirarono i primi saggi di natura sociologica. Quale inviato speciale, esperto in questioni sovietiche, faceva numerose inchieste, pubblicate su riviste e periodici poi condensate in diversi saggi. L'ultima sua opera (edita dal Club di Autori Indipendenti di Milano, seconda edizione nel giugno 2009) s'intitola Il mio Gesù. Si dedicò al giornalismo e scrisse per varie testate, tra le quali Agenzia Radicale, Quaderni Radicali, Avanti, Critica Sociale, Gente, Il Brigante, Napoli. com, Il Fiorino, Il Meridionale, Il Denaro, Sovietica, Relazioni Umane, Nasha Gazieta, Il Privato, La Piccola Città, L’Esopo, Messis, Momento Sera, Prospettive, Scena Illustrata, di cui è stato anche condirettore.
