Evidently selections from an unaltered diary kept between Dec '58 scene a Tacoma hotel room to June '66 the Bowery; depressing sexual activity alternates with starings out of flophouse windows. Includes a stock portrait of and elegy for Richard Farina whom Mel misses. Mel figures in David Felton's cult-study "Mindfuckers" where we read that "Many of Lyman's followers are like thousands of us who have experienced the profoundest anxieties loneliness and fear while tripping on LSD.
