The sale consisted of 20th century decorative arts and included an important collection of works by Carlo Mollino which he designed for the Casa Cattaneo or 'Villa K2' in 1953. This villa was the only private villa to have been designed and built by Mollino. It sits on a secluded site overlooking Lake Maggiore north of Milan. Color photographs, both exterior and interior shots, show the design of the house and some of the furniture Mollino designed for it.
