Post-production eight page Music Cue Sheet script for the 1952 film with single page "Correction Report" preceding.<br/><br/>Jennifer Jones offers a virtual reprise of her sultry performance in King Vidor's 1946 "Duel in the Sun" as the titular heroine of this film. Born into a poor-white-trash Southern family Ruby intends to improve her lot by marrying into wealth. Her casual beau Boake Tackman Charlton Heston considers Ruby unfit for marriage but prosperous businessman Jim Gentry Karl Malden is eager and willing to make her his wife. Jim Gentry dies in an accident and the consensus of opinion is that he was killed by the covetous Ruby. For some reason this turns Boake on and he renews his torrid romance with the widow Gentry. Ruby's crazed brother Jewel James Anderson puts an end to this affair with a shotgun provoking a violent response from Ruby and a "Lady or the Tiger"-esque ending. <br/><br/>Self-titled wrapper integral with title page noted as Music Cue Sheet with credits for director King Vidor composer Heinz Roemheld and music supervisor Dave Chudnow. The film saw its first release in 1937 and was directed by William Wyler and starred Sylvia Sidney Joel McCrea Humphrey Bogart and Claire Trevor et al. Nominated for the Academy Awards in four categories it is notable that Claire Trevor was nominated for best supporting actress for a five minute on- screen appearance. With a resume laid in for actor Sharon Hawn including holograph ink notation correcting her phone number possibly due to her being considered for a role in this unproduced feature. Based on the autobiography "With Two Wheels and a Camera" by still photographer Bert Kopperl who was a war correspondent and photographer during World War II in the Pacific Theater where he sustained injuries that left him without the use of any of his limbs. He trained his arms back to working order and met Humphrey Bogart who began to take him around Hollywood parties. His photographic style and eye was highly praised and he worked both in Hollywood productions such as "Command Decision" 1948 as a professional portrait photographer and for magazines such as "Life." Set in Philippines and Hollywood. Blue untitled wrappers. Title page present with credits for author Bert Kopperl and screenwriter Vince Diaz. 35 leaves with last leaf of text numbered 28.
