This set dated 1989 two years before the film's official release produced for press advertisement. Of note is a "tasty" image of Hopkins' bloody mouth and a shot of director Demme surveying his work with many images not seen in the film. Based on Thomas Harris' 1988 best selling novel. Clarice Starling Foster is a young F.B.I. cadet who is tracking a serial killer Levine who skins his victims. In hopes of gaining knowledge of the killer and his whereabouts she must confide in an incarcerated man himself a killer and confessed cannibal Dr. Hannibal Lecter Hopkins. One of the greatest films of the 1990s from many aspects the defining horror film of the decade and arguably one of the scariest most nightmarish films ever made. Winner of Academy Awards in the top five categories only the third film to do so the other two being "It Happened One Night" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" the film boosted the careers of Foster Hopkins and Levine with Hopkins reprising his devilish role as Hannibal the Cannibal in Ridley Scott's 2001 sequel "Hannibal" and Brett Ratner's 2002 prequel "Red Dragon." Small photos affixed with cello tape on thick stock in a folio "Lavis aquarelle" brand spiral bound notebook with maroon faux leather front wrapper. Each photo is numbered in holograph ink on the page and in mimeograph on the verso all credited to photographer Dole on the recto. The keybook illustrates a few film sequences most with a stoic Gabin in hat with several composed studio portraits of actress Nat. Included are four larger single photographs of Gabin doing a chair trick in a pub a sequence present in the keybook also credited to Dole on the recto. <br/><br/>Based on Lefevre's novel "Rue des Prairies" 1955. Gabin plays a POW who returns a widower and in charge of three children. His experiences during the war are relieve through heavy drinking but he has a warm side that proves beneficial. Los Angeles: Twentieth Century-Fox 1977. Final script for the 1978 science fiction/horror film. The script is accompanied by four sets of revised sheets with the name of unidentified cast/crew member John Friedkin in pencil at the top of the first revision set on pink and orange stock dated August 15 September 12 September 16 and November 17 respectively. Literally a "mind-blowing" film in which two young psychic savants possess the ability to blow up the head of a another person by means of telekinesis. Douglas and Cassavetes play two men one good one evil battling for control over the youngsters with Cassavetes on the nefarious side of the line. One of DePalma's most entertaining genre films pre-dating Cronenberg's slightly more intellectual "Scanners" by 3 years. White titled wrappers dated June 20 1977 and with credits for both Frank Yablans Presentations and Twentieth Century-Fox. Title page present with a screenwriter credit for Farris. 133 leaves blue stock mechanical duplication. From the collection of still photographer Bob Willoughby. <br/><br/>Bob Willoughby 1927-2009 studied with Saul Bass at the Kann Institute of Art in Los Angeles worked as a photographer for magazines such as "Life" "Look" and "Harper's Bazaar" and as a set photographer for every major studio documenting some of most important films of the era and creating intimate portraits of some of Hollywood's greatest celebrities. <br/><br/>Willoughby moved his family to County Cork Ireland in 1972 working on only a handful of films through the late 1970s and early 1980s this was one of his final films though he would continue to photograph exhibit and publish books for the remainder of his life. <br/><br/>Based on Anne Piper's 1959 novel "Marry at Leisure" about Candida Ferris who goes to live with her relatives after the death of her father. Bored with life she leaves for Paris where she meets a young student and becomes pregnant but keeps the baby a secret from her family. Bored yet again with life she leaves for Italy where she meets an American and is soon pregnant again. As she leaves Italy a woman gives her baby to Candida at the train station. So with two babies and one on the way her life is unraveling quickly and her only confidant is Savage Andrews the caretaker of her late father. <br/><br/>Pink titled wrappers with a die-cut title window in the British style.
