Most postcards of the devastating St. Patrick's Day flood of 1936 where river levels reached 46 feet and destroyed houses businesses and steel mills putting thousands of steel workers out of work. Includes images of the flooding around Cheswick West Apollo Sharpsburg Tarentum Harmorville Springsdale and other towns along the rivers washed out buildings mills dams and power stations plus two of skiing in the Laurel Mountains one of Jersey Shore PA and one of the city and the Golden Triangle in 1935.
