A partir de la fable d'un Fils de Dieu incarné en Fils de l'Homme, un mythe nommé Jésus sert de premier modèle à l'imitation: un corps qui ne boit pas, ne mange pas, ne rit pas, n'a pas de sexualité, autrement dit, un "anticorps". La névrose de Paul de Tarse, impuissant sexuel qui aspire ardemment à élargir son destin funeste à l'humanité tout entière, débouche sur la proposition d'un second modèle à imiter: celui du corps du Christ, à savoir: un cadavre. Sur le principe de cette double imitation [...], les Pères de l'Eglise, dont saint Augustin, développent une théologie de l'éros chrétien constitutif d'un nihilisme de la chair. Le modèle de jouissance devient le martyr qui jubile de souffrir et de mourir pour gagner son paradis.
