Manuel I de Portugal contém também o elogio fúnebre do autor por Fernando Rebelo S.J. Chanceler da Universidade de Évora no qual se refere que o autor faleceu durante a impressão da obra e ainda um poema em louvor do autor de Manuel Pimenta S.J. famoso Poeta. As licenças da Inquisição foram assinadas por Fr. Manuel Coelho a licença do Arcebispo de Évora D.
