Alla ricerca del fondamento teologico della partecipazione attiva alla liturgia. Il dibattito nella commissione liturgica preparatoria del Concilio Vaticano II
br. Il tema della partecipazione attiva di tutti i fedeli alla celebrazione liturgica costituisce uno dei cardini pastorali della Costituzione liturgica conciliare, la ragione e il criterio fondamentali della riforma che ne è seguita. Tra le riflessioni e i dibattiti che videro protagonisti i membri e i consultori della "Pontificia commissio de sacra liturgia praeparatoria Concilii Vaticani II" non poteva quindi mancare la questione "De fidelium participatione in sacra liturgia", che impegnò una delle tredici sottocommissioni nelle quali era articolata la Commissione liturgica. In continuità con il suo recente contributo alla storia della redazione della Costituzione Sacrosanctum Concilium (La "Pontificia Commissio de sacra liturgia praeparatoria Concilii Vaticani II". Documenti, Testi, Verbali, CLV-Edizioni Liturgiche, Roma, 2013), l'autore, in questa seconda pubblicazione, mette a disposizione della comunità scientifica nuovi testi, finora inediti, che caratterizzarono il lavoro preparatorio. Si tratta di relazioni richieste e presentate alla Commissione da alcuni membri della stessa (P. Jounel, G. Bevilacqua) e da teologi esterni ai quali venne richiesto un contributo (K. Rahner e A. M. Roguet, cooptato successivamente nella Commissione), alle quali si aggiungono alcune lettere dei protagonisti del dibattito sulla partecipazione attiva dei fedeli alla liturgia e sul suo fondamento teologico.

Langlois, orientalista e traduttore francese venne conosciuto per le sue traduzioni dal sanscrito, particolarmente per la traduzione in francese del Rig-Veda. Le sue traduzioni furono apprezzate più per la loro qualità letteraria che per il rigore scientifico. In-4°, 4 voll. (XVI, pp. 585, (1); pp.526, (1); pp.492,(1); pp.544 (1)), half calf binding, bands and title at the spine. Langlois, a French orientalist and translator, was known for his translations from Sanskrit, particularly for the French translation of the Rig-Veda. His translations were appreciated more for their literary quality than for scientific accuracy.
